FAQs
Favorite food?
Ugh it’s too difficult to choose! I’m a big pasta/Italian fan but I’m really trying to cut out my carbs and eat a bit more balanced diet.
Favorite movie?
Troy!! I’m not even kidding when I say I remember every-single-line of the almost 3 hour long movie. I’m a helpless romantic, but I don’t like any romance movies, weird right? They’re just too syrupy for me. I like action movies with a hint of love and Troy brings both action and love together and creates such an emotional and interesting movie.
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
Hmm a night owl turned early bird! My baby wakes up every morning around 7am and that means my day starts at 7 too. Plus I’ve always liked getting things done earlier in the day so there’s more time for other stuff later in the day.
Dream destination?
Bora Bora, Bali, Fiji, Cayman Islands, Maldives… Any of those exotic islands that have an over the water -bungalow!
When did you move to the U.S.?
I moved here at the end of summer -16.
Favorite thing about America v. Finland?
I get to choose only one? Eeks. I think one of the best things about Finland is its safety, with regards to everything! You can trust the education you get is top-level, the crime rate is super low, and the food you put into your body is non-GMO and nutrient rich. And how could I not mention Fazer – the god of chocolate! What I love the most about America must be the meaning of family. Of course I can’t speak on behalf of every American family but just going off my own experiences. Anyway, here all the family members go to one’s football game to support and all holidays are big family events. I feel like in Finland people aren’t that connected and that’s super sad!
Any pet peeves?
I really don’t appreciate white lies! I’m super sneaky and usually find out about lies anyway.
Rude people! I know sometimes people just have a bad day, but I think it’s so important to always be nice to others and have the ability to step in their shoes before making quick judgements.
